Tom Skaggs loves when characters, histories, and myths come together to create a great story. His writing reflects the macabre, dark reality of our world as seen through the lens of apocalyptic futures and alternate timelines. As a middle grade teacher, historian, and author, Skaggs’s passion is to sprinkle his tales with references from diverse cultures and times – perfect reads for history lovers.

When he isn’t writing, you’ll find him escaping revolutions in Egypt, wearing the green and gray of the National Park Service, visiting museums, and doing his best Steve Nash impression on the basketball court.
